What we learned during the 2020 Pandemic
The year is almost over and yet we are still shaking our heads to this most unprecedented year – 2020. For the past nine months we’ve been it together, and yet we have all experienced it differently. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, our beloved restaurant industry and all those who have had to close their doors and those who are still barely hanging on. We thank all front line and essential workers who go to work each day for our benefit. We’ve come this far, it’s not over and we’ve learned a lot about resilience…
Our bakery is doing well – because of you. From the very beginning, you supported Rosie’s with endless orders and gave us grace as we turned our business model into an on-line – curbside bakery. Your trust and faith in us during the most difficult times, fueled us to stay strong when we needed it. We battled scarcity of ingredients, sanitizing products, and price gauging. We traveled far and wide to shop local until we had to look elsewhere. We were exhausted from the unknown and prayed all the time for the safety of our staff and customers.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for allowing us this year to be a part of your lives. You didn’t let Covid-19 stop you from celebrating those birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, holidays and more. Though it may have been different – in a way you never expected, it still happened and you asked us to be there.
Because of you, our doors are still open. You showed us you cared and that is the biggest silver lining in all of this. As 2021 approaches, we hope and pray for a different kind of new year for all – whatever that may be for you.
For us, we will continue to bake our hearts out when you ask us to, and never take anything for granted….
God Bless – be well and stay safe…
