Celebrating with Rosies!
As a business owner, you must be able to adapt and repurpose your business as needed. My initial idea for Rosie’s was a thriving catering business so the masses would be able to enjoy my sweets. So, I set out with all good intentions to make that happen when owners of local businesses started to reach out with interest in selling our sweets. That sure was a blessing in disguise because the catering business was slow to say the least. Within a year of opening Rosie’s, we were in several well-established coffee shops and our name was becoming familiar. The phones began ringing and orders were taken for cakes – which I promised myself I would never do! Thank goodness for the internet and some courage, because that is how I learned to decorate those cakes!
Five years later, we are a thriving bakery storefront with a wholesale and catering division. I’m no longer decorating cakes and baking like I used to, because I have 3 amazing bakers and two awesome cake/cookie decorators! Our cakes, cookies and sweets have graced the tables of many homes, parties and weddings. I never thought in my wildest imagination that we would be invited to be a part of so many celebrations.
Being trusted to bake and decorate for a personal event is of the highest honor and we take it seriously. Our motto “no one should be left out” we take to heart!
So, thank you for enriching our lives with your celebrations! We hope your birthdays, graduations, showers, and weddings are what you’ve dreamed of!
Cheers to many more gluten free celebrations!
