The busiest time of the year…
As the days get longer and colder here in the Midwest, we know it to be the onset of the busiest time of the year. Magazines fill the shelves at the checkouts with baking and decorating ideas, television platforms have hundreds of episodes of holiday competitions, lists and ideas are made of food, decorations, and gifts to be made, bought and wrapped. Our expectations of what the perfect meal and gathering should be often leaves our tanks empty for little else. Being thankful for our daily blessings gets lost somewhere in crowded stores or traffic jams. Yes – the onset of the busiest time of the year can easily overtake the peace we desire if we allow it.
My 58 years on earth have given me so many blessings as a mom, wife, grandmother, friend and now business owner. I’m no different than anyone else in allowing the noise to get in the way of remembering those blessings. This year, let us lift high the most important things in our lives and draw them close to our hearts. Let us seek pockets of time to find peace and joy between the hustle and bustle.
From our Rosie family to yours, thank you for your love and support of our little bakery. We are so grateful to be able to bake and adorn your tables with all your favorite sweets this holiday season.
God Bless,
Pamela
